Rockbeach Training, in two answers.
- What is Rockbeach Training?
- Rockbeach Training is AI sales and service training. People practice real conversations with AI customers who answer in natural-sounding voices, every answer is graded with an explanation, and a manager sees where the team is strong and where it is weak. It started in sports ticket sales, where it has its deepest course, and it builds training for organizations in other industries from their own website and files.
- Who makes it?
- Rockbeach, LLC. The founder is Anthony Di Fino: twenty-plus years in college athletics, and a former Deputy Athletic Director/Chief Revenue Officer in the Big 12. Rockbeach Training is a member of Claude for Startups, Anthropic’s program for startups building on Claude, and an ElevenLabs Grants recipient (October 2026), which supports the voices in its practice calls. Patent pending.
Five kinds of buyer.Sports first, and any team whose job is the conversation
- Sports organizations
- College athletics departments, pro clubs and minor league teams: ticket sales, renewals and service, the box office, the annual fund or memberships, game-day staff and interns. Each organization gets a sales manual and a course built from its own website.
- Groups that oversee many properties
- Leagues, conferences, ownership groups and the agencies and partners that run ticket sales for several properties. Each property gets its own manual and course; the group sees every property in one view.
- Professors and students
- Professors get a free faculty account, one link for the syllabus, and every answer graded with an explanation for them. Students in a class pay per week of the term; students on their own buy the individual plan.
- Individuals
- Anyone who wants to learn to sell tickets: the first week in a ticket office, simulated, ending in a certificate any employer can check online.
- Companies in any industry
- Any team whose job is the conversation: front desks, customer service, inside sales, member and donor services, new-hire onboarding. The training is built from the organization’s own website and files.
Practice, graded.
- How does it work?
- For sports ticket sales: 17 modules (a first call, then 16 to read), practice calls with AI customers, a separate, timed practice CRM and ticketing system, and a certificate at the end. For an organization: send the website (and any manual, policies or price sheets); Rockbeach writes a playbook and training in the organization’s name, lists anything the site did not say, and the manager approves every page before the team sees it.
- How is it graded?
- Every answer is graded with an explanation. Written answers, typed calls and spoken calls are all graded, and a manager can read every written answer and overrule its grade. Each person gets a profile across ten strengths, not one score.
- What does the certificate prove?
- That the person passed a real sitting: 35 multiple-choice questions, 5 written answers, 2 typed calls and a final call, spoken or typed, with 80 to pass. Any employer can check a certificate at rockbeachtraining.com/verify.
- Is Rockbeach University a real school?
- No. It is a fictional college created for the example course. It awards no degrees. Its athletics site, GoWhitecaps.com, is live, so learners look things up the way they would on the job. No real school’s material is used in it.
- Does it make things up?
- Training built for an organization uses only that organization’s own material and the manager’s answers. A fact it cannot trace to a source is left out or sent back to the manager as a question, never guessed.
- Does it help with hiring?
- Recruiting and matching are sports only. In every other industry Rockbeach Training is training only.
