THE AD CHALLENGE & THE MAKE THE CALL CHALLENGE
Official Rules · V1.1.4 · 16 October 2026 · Rockbeach, LLC
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS IS A CONTEST OF SKILL. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
The AD Challenge (for college athletics departments) and the Make the Call Challenge (for professional and minor league clubs) (each a "Challenge") are sponsored by Rockbeach, LLC, doing business as Rockbeach Training, P.O. Box 55, Union, KY 41091 ("Sponsor"). Questions: hello@rockbeachtraining.com.
2. Challenge period
The Challenge begins on 20 October 2026 and ends on 31 December 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Challenge Period"). Sponsor may extend or end the Challenge Period early by posting notice on rockbeachtraining.com at least seven (7) days in advance. All times are Eastern Time.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the fifty states and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and who enter on behalf of an eligible organization. An "eligible organization" is a college or university athletics department, or a professional, minor league or amateur sports organization, located in the United States. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family and household members are not eligible.
The Prize is awarded solely to the eligible organization and not to the entrant individually. Taking a Challenge Call does not bind the organization or constitute acceptance of the Prize. Before activation, Sponsor may require acceptance by an officer, department head, procurement representative, compliance representative, or other person authorized to accept the Prize and the applicable platform terms on the organization’s behalf.
The entrant and receiving organization are responsible for confirming that acceptance and use of the Prize comply with the organization’s policies and all applicable ethics, gifts, procurement, conflicts, sponsorship, and other legal requirements. Sponsor may require written approval from the organization’s ethics, compliance, procurement, or other authorized office and will not award or activate a Prize if Sponsor determines that doing so may violate applicable law or organizational policy.
4. How to enter
AD Challenge: visit rockbeachtraining.com/for/athletic-directors/challenge. Make the Call Challenge: visit the challenge page linked from rockbeachtraining.com/for/sports-organizations. In either case, complete one practice sales call with the simulated customer ("the Challenge Call"). No account, sign-up or payment is required. The call is free.
5. How calls are judged
Each Challenge Call is graded by Sponsor's published grading method, which is applied identically to every entrant: the call is graded three (3) separate times and the middle (median) score counts. For either Challenge, a score of 90 or higher out of 100 qualifies (a "Qualifying Score"). The grading method is described at rockbeachtraining.com/educators#method. Sponsor's grade is final, subject to the review right below.
An entrant may request a review of a score within seven (7) days by writing to hello@rockbeachtraining.com. A review never lowers a score.
6. Prize
Each eligible organization whose entrant earns a Qualifying Score receives one (1) month of Sponsor's Coaching platform at no charge, including the seats included in that plan (the "Prize"). The same plan applies to college, professional and minor league organizations. Approximate retail value: $650 ($975 for a Prize that begins on or after 1 January 2027). The Prize has no cash value, is not transferable, may not be exchanged, and does not renew automatically. No credit card is required to receive it.
- Limit: one (1) Prize per organization for the life of the Challenge, regardless of the number of entrants or Qualifying Scores.
- The Prize begins when Sponsor activates it, which Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to do within fourteen (14) days after the claim is verified and the organization has accepted the Prize and platform terms under Section 7, and never before 20 October 2026. A Qualifying Score earned before 20 October 2026 is honored, with the Prize starting on 20 October 2026. The organization may ask for a later start date within ninety (90) days.
- Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable.
7. Claiming the prize
After a Qualifying Score, the entrant completes the claim form shown on screen (name, title, organization and work email). Sponsor verifies eligibility, which may include confirming the entrant's role with the organization, and will send claim instructions to the organization. The organization must complete verification and accept the Prize within thirty (30) days after Sponsor sends claim instructions; if it does not, the claim may be disqualified and the Prize forfeited. As a condition of receiving and activating the Prize, the organization must accept Sponsor’s standard platform terms of service; Sponsor will not activate platform access until that acceptance is received, and use of the platform during the Prize period is governed by those terms. If those terms conflict with these Official Rules regarding the scope, duration or cost of the Prize, these Official Rules control.
8. Fair play
Each call must be made by the entrant personally, speaking in real time. Calls that use automated software, recordings, synthetic or AI-generated voices, scripts read from an AI tool during the call, or any other automated means are void. Each person may submit no more than two (2) Challenge Calls during the Challenge Period, and only that person’s highest completed score will be considered. Creating additional identities, using another person’s device, or otherwise attempting to circumvent this limit is prohibited. Sponsor may void any entry or claim it reasonably believes violates these Official Rules.
9. Publicity and the GM / President board
Sponsor will not publish an entrant's name, score or organization without the entrant's separate, express permission.
Make the Call Challenge only: after seeing the grade, an entrant may choose to appear on Sponsor's public GM / President board, which lists the top fifty (50) scores of all time with the entrant's name, title, organization and score. Appearing is optional, off unless chosen, and not required to win. Sponsor shows an organization's name only after verifying the entrant's role (for example, by a work email at that organization's domain). An entrant may remove the listing at any time using the link Sponsor provides, and Sponsor may remove any listing it cannot verify. By choosing to appear, the entrant permits Sponsor to display those details on the board and in Sponsor's promotion of it, without compensation.
10. Privacy
Information collected in the Challenge is used to administer the Challenge and is handled under Sponsor's Privacy Policy at rockbeachtraining.com/privacy.
11. Release and limitation of liability
By entering, each entrant agrees to release Sponsor and its members, employees and agents from any and all claims, losses, damages and liability of any kind arising from participation in the Challenge or acceptance, use or inability to use the Prize, to the extent permitted by law. THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE CHALLENGE OR THE PRIZE. Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, interrupted calls, lost connections or errors in the operation of the Challenge; if a call fails for a technical reason, the entrant may take it again.
12. Taxes
The receiving organization is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with the Prize. Sponsor may require a completed IRS Form W-9 or other documentation and may report the Prize to taxing authorities if required by applicable law. The value of the Prize may be taxable even if Sponsor is not required to issue an information return.
13. Changes; governing law
Sponsor may modify, suspend or end the Challenge at any time and for any reason, with notice posted on the Challenge page; claims for Qualifying Scores earned before the change will be honored. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boone County, Kentucky.
14. Winners list
For the list of organizations awarded a Prize, write to hello@rockbeachtraining.com within ninety (90) days after the Challenge ends.
